MIC + B12 / Lipo-C
MIC + B12 (also referred to as Lipo-C) is a research blend combining the lipotropic compounds Methionine, Inositol, and Choline with Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin or Methylcobalamin). Some formulations also include additional supporting compounds such as L-Carnitine.
Key components and research focus:
Methionine – An essential sulfur-containing amino acid involved in methylation pathways and the synthesis of other biomolecules.
Inositol – A carbocyclic sugar that plays a role in cell membrane structure and intracellular signaling.
Choline – A precursor for phosphatidylcholine and acetylcholine, involved in lipid transport and membrane integrity.
Vitamin B12 – A water-soluble vitamin that functions as a cofactor in methylation reactions and cellular energy metabolism.
L-Carnitine (when included) – Involved in the transport of fatty acids into mitochondria for research related to energy metabolism.
This multi-component research blend is studied for its roles in lipid metabolism, hepatic function, methylation pathways, and cellular energy processes. Supplied strictly for laboratory and research use only.
